Mrs. Sneesby

Hello, and welcome to 4th grade!

My name is Laura Sneesby, and I am excited to have the privilege of working with your child at Maplewood Elementary. I have taught 5th grade since 2008 and this year I will be teaching fourth grade. 

I received a BS in Hotel, Restaurant, Management from Northern Arizona University. After years of management, I decided to become a mom and open an in-home daycare. Working with children was very rewarding, and I wanted to continue working with children in a different capacity. I enrolled at UNC where I earned my Teaching Certificate and a Master's in Elementary Education. 

In addition to teaching, I am married and have 3 children. I enjoy gardening, sunny days, reading a good book, cooking, eating chocolate, and watching my ducks waddle by. 

I look forward to an exciting year getting to work with you and your child.
