Just a reminder that students are not allowed to bring over the counter medication to school. This includes but is not limited to cough drops, sore throat lozenges, tums, and pain relievers, etc. You must have a physicians authorization form signed to have these items at school. District 6 does provide Tylenol, Calamine Lotion, anitbacterial soap and alcohol for cleansing, Carmex and Vasoline for dry lips, eucerin cream, lotion, salt water gargle, saline drops, after bite topical cream, antacid tablets, diaper rash cream, and Hydrocortisone Cream to be used as needed and with parental permission. Please contact the Health Office with any questions.Cough Drops and Cold Medicine
We are fully in cough, cold, and flu season! All prescription AND over the counter medications (including cold medicine, cough drops, eye drops, ointments) MUST have written permission from your doctor in order to be used at school, and must be kept in the health office for student use. These medications can be dangerous if taken without an adult present or if shared with classmates who may choke or have allergies. Please help us keep all students safe by keeping medications at home, or if needed at school, gaining proper doctor permission/note. Please see the health services website – “forms page” for medication authorization forms or call the health clerk if you have any questions. https://www.greeleyschools.org/Page/8183. 970-348-2026.
