Facilities

Welcome to Facilities!
The Greeley-Evans School District 6 Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining 30 school sites and 12 support buildings that consist of approximately 2.7 million square feet of space on over 600 acres of land. This includes almost 40 field, court and track areas used for district and community athletics or activities.
In addition, the Facilities Department oversaw the 2019 Bond Issue which generated almost $500 million for the construction and/or renovation of all 30 school sites. This allowed us to create more brick and mortar classroom spaces while reducing our modular building spaces.
The Facilities Department consists of five maintenance departments: Access Control/Security Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Grounds Maintenance, and Mechanical Maintenance, as well as the Operations office (which includes Badges and Facility Use), with nearly 50 employees. The Network/Infrastructure Maintenance Department works closely with the Facilities Departments but is actually part of the Information Technology Department. (The Network/Infrastructure Maintenance Department is included here for information purposes only.) The Facilities Department's budget is funded to maintain the buildings and sites of the District.
The Greeley-Evans School District 6 Facilities office is located at 2204 5th Avenue in Greeley. Our phone number is (970)348-6400. Regular office hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. During the months of June and July we are closed on Fridays. (Any calls placed outside of regular office hours are routed to an answering service. Maintenance personnel are then dispatched to sites that need assistance.)
