The Access Control/Security Maintenance team is responsible for ensuring safe and secure buildings for students, staff and visitors
The Access Control /Security Maintenance Department designs, oversees and maintains the critical infrastructure that ensures the functionality and reliability of Greeley-Evans School District 6’s physical safety and security systems. This department ensures operation and integration of advanced technologies across the district working closely with the District’s Safety and Security Department.
Our Main Services:
Access and Key Control
Design and maintain the Access and Key control systems for over 1,400 badge-controlled doors.
Accessibility
Install, service and repair all automatic door operators ensuring accessible buildings.
Badges
Verify and approve access for all staff and contractor badges.
Door Systems
Maintain over 9,000 doors, which includes doors, locks, levers, panic hardware, door closers, hinges, thresholds, etc.
Key Management
Create, maintain and track the master key system for over 9,000 doors as well as other keys and locks (e.g.: cabinets, padlocks, desks, safes, etc.).
Lockdown and Door Prop Alarm Systems
Design, install and maintain all lockdown and door prop alarm systems.
Security Cameras
Design and maintain over 2,400 cameras to ensure continuous and high-quality monitoring.
