Network/Infrastructure Maintenance Department
The Network and Infrastructure team is responsible for maintaining a large and complex IT environment that supports the daily operations of approximately 35,000 devices. Their critical responsibilities include the upkeep of core networking equipment, such as 650 network switches and 1,700 wireless access points, ensuring seamless connectivity across the entire organization.
Additionally, the team manages a vast communication infrastructure, comprising 2,100 Voice over IP (VoIP) phones and school intercom systems. They also play a crucial role in maintaining building safety and security by managing DMP security panels and fire alarm systems.
This comprehensive oversight ensures a reliable, secure, and functional technological backbone for all users.
