There is growing interest in the K-12 community in cybersecurity issues specific to protecting students and district organizations, policy, and others.  The following organizations have resources that address some of these concerns and may be of interest to individual teachers and administrators.

THE CONSORTIUM FOR SCHOOL NETWORKING

The Consortium for School Networking is a resource for K-12 technology issues.  Of particular interest here is their EDTECH TOPIC OF CYBERSECURITY.

U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION OFFICE OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

The Office of Educational Technology has a variety of national policy and vision documents, along with documentation of their national initiatives, and resources for teachers and administrators.

THE FUTURE OF PRIVACY FORUM

The Future of Privacy Forum is concerned with privacy protection, ethical issues, and government policy.  They have a specific section dedicated to YOUTH & EDUCATION PRIVACY.

K12 SIX

K-12 Security Information eXchange offers cybersecurity services to K-12.  There are a few publicly available resources.  Of particular note is the K-12 CYBER INCIDENT MAP.
