PROJECT SEARCH

Project SEARCH is a school-to-work transition program where individuals with disabilities learn work skills in a host business setting. UCHealth Greeley is proud to be one of the host sites for Project SEARCH, and has many different units within the hospital to choose from. Students attend Project SEARCH for 9 months (following the school calendar) and intern in 2-3 different departments at the host site's business of Greeley Hospital.

Who is Eligible?

Between 18-20 years of age
Currently enrolled in a District 6 high school special education program or transition program
Completed high school credits necessary for graduation
Does not have their high school diploma
Eligible for services through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
Have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)
Have a strong desire to work
