D6 Gives Back

D6 Gives Back is all about coming together to support our community!

We’re encouraging our school district employees to volunteer with local organizations to share your time, your talents, and make a difference. Want to join us in giving back to the organizations who give so much to our students and staff?

Here's the Scoop:

Get 8 hours of paid volunteer time each year when you join the program.
Choose what works for you: one-time projects, half-day activities, or even a series of events on your own or with your team.
Log your volunteer hours easily using the process on the D6 website.

Eligibility

D6 Gives Back is part of Innovation 2030: Strengthening Partnerships. Interested in joining? Talk with your supervisor and connect with the D6 Gives Back leaders by filling out the form.

Participation is completely optional. Please keep in mind that this is a personal choice, and district workers’ compensation coverage and other benefits do not apply to volunteer activities through this program.

Getting Started

Browse the list of pre-approved volunteer organizations and pick the one that inspires you.
Connect with their volunteer contact to ask about opportunities and sign up for a date and time.
Talk with your supervisor and submit your leave in Infinite Visions or Frontline.
Fill out the D6 Gives Back Participation Form.
Volunteer and have fun! (You’ll get a follow-up email afterward to confirm your participation.)
