Preparing Today for Tomorrow
Exploring careers, taking college courses in high school, earning an industry certificate, completing an apprenticeship or internship: Students in Greeley-Evans School District 6 have many opportunities to explore careers and find their path while in high school.
Through 29 Career Pathways in 14 different Career Academies in high schools and the Career and Technical Education Center, students are getting a head start on college and career before they graduate high school. Schools also partner with businesses and industries to provide guest speakers and job shadowing opportunities for students.

Here are just a few of the opportunities students in District 6 are participating in:
- More than 170 students participated in paid summer internships in 2024.
- 3,720 students are enrolled in a career pathway program.
- 63 percent of students at the Career and Technical Education Center have earned an industry certificate.
- More than 50 percent of high school students are taking college classes for free from Aims Community College, the University of Northern Colorado, and other higher education partners.
- 77% of District 6 high school students are enrolled in a career pathway.
- 90% of students enrolled in the Health Science Program passed the Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
- 168 District 6 students have earned an industry certificate.
