What's one goal you're currently working towards in your sport?

"18+ foot long jump."

Describe your worst sports performance. What did you learn from this experience?

"My worst sports performance was a basketball game where I had no points and very little stats. I got to learn the importance of keeping my head up high and playing with all I had, regardless!"

Who are your role models in your sport or life, and how have they influenced you?

"My dad is my biggest role model, and also my biggest sponsor in basketball. I am so thankful for his relentless support and encouragement in everything I do."

How do you balance sports with other responsibilities like school or work?

"It's not always easy and often requires compromises. However, it's so important to stay on top of your schoolwork and get help if needed. Always make sure to communicate with coaches, parents, and employers. In my own experience, communication has always been key, and the most important influence in balancing a busy schedule!"

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"I am attending UNC with a major in sports and exercise science and a focus on joining ROTC to become a pilot in the United States Air Force."

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"Most importantly, always stay on top of your academics. Always give it your all, even when you're not at your best, and be an encouragement to your teammates!"

Do you have any funny pre-game rituals or superstitions that you stick to?

"I always pray before each game."

If you were to participate in a talent show unrelated to your sport, what would your act be?

"I'm pretty good at juggling, or I would play something on my euphonium."
