"I am most proud of my state championship because we came together as a team and held each other accountable all season long, so the celebrations together felt all the sweeter."

What's one goal you're currently working towards in your sport?

"I am currently working towards finding the perfect spot for me to play at the college level!"

Describe your worst sports performance. What did you learn from this experience?

"My worst sports performance happened this year. I couldn't hold on to the ball, make easy shots, hit good passes. I learned that my teammates have my back, and I can't have a great game every game."

Who are your role models in your sport or life, and how have they influenced you?

"My biggest role model in basketball is my dad. He pushes me every day and always tells me how it is. Hearing about the life that he has created through basketball is inspiring and something I wish to achieve in the future."

How do you balance sports with other responsibilities like school or work?

"I am a student-athlete knowing that if my grades aren't good, that takes me away from the game I love. That is enough for me to skip out on some activities that may take my attention away from school or basketball."

What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?

"I plan on committing to a college soon for basketball and majoring in architecture."

What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?

"I would tell them to work hard every day and to not be afraid to have the hard conversations with coaches or teammates. It can only make situations better."

Do you have any funny pre-game rituals or superstitions that you stick to?

"I always wear my hair exactly the same every game! My team always sings 'All I Want' right before the coach comes in for the pre-game talk."

If you were to participate in a talent show unrelated to your sport, what would your act be?

"I would sing and dance."
