D6 Middle School Athlete of the Week: Aisha Holguin, Brentwood Middle School

"Aisha Embodies everything I hope athletics can bring our students! She puts her heart and soul into everything she does, and we are so proud of Aisha and the leadership she shows on and off the court and field. Here are a few words from her Brentwood coaches over the years!" - Heather Severt, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

"Aisha dominates on the court with relentless drive, but her true greatness shines through her character and leadership. Exceptional both as an athlete and student, she approaches every challenge with unmatched determination and heart. It's been a joy to coach Aisha over the last 3 years." - Reyna Trevino, Coach

"Aisha is a consistent athlete and emerging leader. She brings a positive attitude every day and has demonstrated an innate ability to remain calm in high-pressure game situations. It has been a privilege to coach her." - Connor Rodrigo, Coach

"Aisha brings a positive attitude to practice every day. She embodies the 'Team, Teammate, Self' mantra, always thinking about others before herself. It is a privilege to be her coach." - Brendan Chenoweth, Coach

"Aisha embodies the term 'student-athlete.' She leaves it all on the floor, but is always a student first. Even as a younger player in the program, she has always been a natural leader, and her teammates and peers respect and look up to her. It has been great being able to coach her." - Jioni Reliford, Coach
