D6 Middle School Athlete of the Week: Chelsea Perez, Heath Middle School

"Chelsea has been an integral part of Heath's volleyball team since she made varsity in sixth grade. Since then, she continues to improve on every aspect of her game, thanks to her incredible work ethic. This season, she has stepped up to be a leader in our program as one of the two returning players to varsity. Additionally, Chelsea is a strong multi-sport athlete, having represented Heath on the basketball court and soccer pitch. Off the court and field, Chelsea is an amazing student who brings that work ethic and silent leadership with her to all of her classes. She truly embodies what it means to be a student-athlete." - Nathan Myers, Coach
