The end of the 2025-2026 school year was full of celebrations!

Prairie Heights Middle School honored Mr. Kevin Espinoza, affectionately known as Mr. Espy, for his 32 years of teaching, 27 of which were at Prairie Heights/John Evans. Students and staff dressed up as Mr. Espy, revealed a banner in the gym honoring Mr. Espy's years of service, and tearfully wished him a wonderful retirement. Mr. Espy impacted countless lives during his time in D6. We are truly honored that he chose to teach at District 6!

Students were also celebrated at this assembly with academic awards! Families were able to proudly cheer on their students as they received these awards.
