Student Spotlight: Naveiah Stewart, Heath Middle School

Student Spotlight: Naveiah Stewart, Heath Middle School

"Naveiah Stewart is an exemplary student who truly embodies leadership and compassion within our school community. As the captain of the cross country team, she not only excels in her sport, but also inspires her teammates, motivating them to reach their potential. Naveiah's athletic talents extend to track and field and basketball, where she consistently performs at a high level while fostering a spirit of teamwork. Academically, she is dedicated to her studies, maintaining great grades and often staying after school to manage her busy schedule. Her inviting nature makes her a welcoming presence for new students, and she is a fierce advocate for her peers, always looking out for her family and younger siblings as well. A shining example of her character occurred during a recent cross country meet, where she not only finished first among 70 athletes, but also took the time to run alongside her teammates, helping each girl across the finish line. This selflessness and dedication highlight the remarkable person Naveiah is, and we are proud to celebrate her outstanding contributions to our school!" - Jen Fisher, 8th Grade Counselor
