When you think about your experience in our district, what makes you feel proud to work here? 

"As a former student in our district, I am incredibly proud to be an educator in the same district I graduated from. I feel proud to work for a district that is focused on helping students grow and thrive throughout their time here. There are many opportunities and resources available for students to explore. I look forward to watching my students grow and thrive throughout their time here in the district."  

What keeps you feeling connected to and supported by our school community? 

"Having student-centered and collaborative colleagues has been really helpful. Together, we create activities and resources for students that challenge students and their learning. Building relationships with students and watching them progress as learners reminds me of the purpose behind my work."  

What's a fun fact about your job? 

"Students bring perspectives and ideas that I've never considered. They ask thought-provoking questions that challenge me to continue growing alongside them."   

What is one experience with a student or staff member that left a lasting, positive impact on you? 

"When working with students, seeing them eager to grow and learn in the classroom has left a lasting impact on me. Watching them ask for help and guidance as they develop as readers and writers has been especially rewarding. I can tell they are motivated to continue growing as writers, readers, and learners."
