When you think about your experience in our district, what makes you feel proud to work here? 

"I am proud to work for a district that not only strives to provide their students with the best they can every day, but also their employees. I have worked in other districts, and District 6 really stands out for their level of care and commitment to all who attend and work here."    

What keeps you feeling connected to and supported by our school community? 

"I love that all of the people in our building (the Service Center) are actively involved in the work we do in the kitchen. Also, our department and district really try hard to reach out to the community as a whole and get them involved as well. The support in this district is in abundance." 

What's a fun fact about your job? 

"I get to work with some of the most unique people, and we really all pride ourselves in making healthy and delicious food for all of our students every day!"

What is one experience with a student or staff member that left a lasting, positive impact on you? 

"There are too many to count. I have so many positive interactions with my peers, but one of my favorites is when Dennis comes to the Central Production Kitchen (CPK) while we are rolling burritos and bets my team that they can't answer his riddle for the day. We always get the answer. Then he rewards them with a treat. It is an amazing team building experience, and my crew absolutely loves it!"
