    Another Semester has passed us by and we are moving fast through all of our many band and orchestra events. There are a few celebrations that we need to mention!

    Congratulations to Amaya Arevalo for making All state Jazz.  Congratulations to Loren Johnston for making the CSU Honor Band, All-Colroado Honor Band and All-State Concert Band. We also want to congratulate Jazz 1 for being invited to perform at Dazzle Jazz Club in Denver.

    March 8-11, 2017 "Cinderella" Musical 

    March 13, 2017  Wind Ensemble Combined Concert with Chappelow and Bethel University at Foundation Hall 7 p.m.

    March 27, 2017 Jazz I Performance at Dazzle Jazz Club 7 p.m. (students will bus to event) Tickets are available in advance for $12.50 see link below

    April 5, 2017 Chamber Choir and Bella Voce Large Group contest at Berthoud High School all day, students will ride busses bring $ for lunch

    April 7, 2017 Wind Ensemble/Symphony Orchestra Large Group contest at Thompson Valley High all day, students will ride busses bring $ for lunch

    April 26, 2017 Marching Band Kickoff meeting and rehearsal 6 p.m. GCHS Band room 

    May 1, 2017 Instrumental Music Concert this will include Jazz 2, Concert Band and Orchestras at GCHS 7 p.m.

    May 11, 2017 GCHS Arts Magnet Gala 7 p.m. at UCCC

    May 20, 2017 Music Department Awards Desert Potluck

    May 27, 2017 GRADUATION All Band students 8 a.m. at D6 stadium

    June: Summer Parade band

    July: 4th of July parade

    August 1: Fall Drum/guard Camp

    August 7: Full Band Camp

  • Biography
    Starting his 8th year at Greeley Central and 17th year in the profession, Mr. Farr holds a Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Utah, and a Masters of Music Education from Boston University. He has played in a variety of professional settings as a percussionist. In addition to his studies in Music Mr. Farr has studied by correspondence at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry as well as the New Jedi Academy. He is currently awaiting results from his application test to starfleet.
