Mrs. Hilary Mathews
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Madame Hilary Mathews. This is my first year teaching at Greeley West. I am so excited to be joining my son Jeb as a Spartan. I will be teaching PreDP/AP French I and PreDP/AP French II. Originally from Texas, I have my Bachelors in Science in Education with emphases in Math and French from Baylor University in Waco. Sic 'em Bears! Upon graduation from Baylor, I moved to Lyon, France, where I taught math in the American School of Lyon and where I met my husband Michael. We have now been married 21 years, been in Greeley for 15 years, and have 5 children. Our oldest Jack is headed to the University of Colorado. 'SKO Buffs! Jeb is a Senior at West. Will is a Junior at Greeley Central (yes, we're a house divided!), Witt is an 8th grader at Chappelow and Luke is a 6th grader at Chappelow. In my freetime, you can find me attending one of my kids games or concerts, hanging out with my friends, or curled up with a book.
