Rosie grew up in a Northern suburb of Chicago and fell in love with Choral Music at a young age, being an active member of Red Rose Children's Choir of Lake County for 11 years. With Red Rose, Ms. O'Connor traveled the world to China, Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Canada. She also followed her passion to many music camps, including Interlochen Center for the Arts.

Ms. O'Connor attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned her Bachelor's of Music Education in 2011. She then found her way to Colorado and has loved living in this beautiful state. Ms. O'Connor earned her Masters in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 2020.

Rosie is currently residing in Greeley and is thrilled about her position at Greeley West High School. She enjoys taking walks with her two dogs, Kai and Merlin. She also loves to backpack in the mountains during the summer!
