Jennifer Berg- Ramsey

My name is Nurse Jennifer and I am your School Registered Nurse. I am responsible for all of the "paperwork" that goes along with keeping kids with health conditions safe and healthy at school. Before I became a Registered Nurse, I was a teacher! I went to CSU and earned a BS degree in Animal Science and a MS degree in Genetics. I taught college biology, animal science, anatomy and physiology at Metro State College, AIMS, FRCC, and CSU. I also taught 6-12 science, math and health for 3 years in North-east Colorado. I went back to college to get an RN-BSN degree so that I could teach health and wellness or run medical programming. When I graduated with my BSN RN, I immediately applied for an open RN position at D6 schools and have been here the 11 years since. I am also a farmer, wife, gardener, home improvement specialist, chicken-wrangler, cow-chaser, and mom of 2 great daughters.
