  • Hello McAuliffe Families!

    I am Jennifer Balliew (think Balou from the Jungle Book.)

    I am a wife and mother to two wonderful kids, Emma-10 and Liam-7.

     

    I am excited about starting my 8th year in D6 and my 1st year here at McAuliffe K-8. I will be serving as a Special Education Teacher in 6th, 7th and 8th grade Co-Taught Math classes, joining McAuliffe from Northridge High School.

     

    I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and have completed graduate level work at the University of Colorado- Boulder in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. I am currently working on my Masters of Education in Innovation and Technology at Capella University. 

     

    I have been teaching as a CLD teacher for the past 11 years in grades K-12, as well as, 5 years working in residential treatment facilities prior to teaching. While at Northridge, I have co-taught in Math, English, Science and U.S. History classes.

     

    I am licensed in Elementary, Early Childhood, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse, Language Arts, Science and Special Education.

    I am also a Google Certified teacher and working on becoming a STEM certified teacher. 

     

    I am always willing to support students to Learn and Grow!!!!
