Hi, my name is Jenna Colson and I am excited to join the Tointon Academy Family as a First Grade Teacher!

This will be my 15th year teaching and my 10th year teaching first grade (I taught 2nd grade for 5 years in Houston, TX). I have a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from BYU-Idaho and recently graduated with my M.A. degree in Literacy from Boise State University. My husband Adam and I have three kiddos: Caleb, Lily Belle and Bonnie Blue. We also have a Scottish Fold kitty, Nessie, that we adore! Our family has moved from Idaho, to Texas, back to Idaho and now we are on our way to Colorado! We love going on adventures, hiking and exploring the National Parks (especially Yellowstone and Glacier), the Oregon Coast, playing games, and just being together!

We are excited for our next adventure here in Colorado and I am looking forward to meeting my new 1st graders and their families!
