Shelby Hernandez

Hi, I am Shelby Hernandez and I am a 3rd grade teacher!

I am a Colorado Native and I love exploring our beautiful state. I graduated from UNC with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This summer I am pursuing my Principal's Licensure and plan to graduate from CSU next spring! I have been teaching for ten years, and I have experience in 5th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade. My husband and I are proud parents of our three year old daughter, seven year old nephew, and six year old niece. They keep us busy and we love doing life with them! We are a dog loving house, and have two Boxers, Maggie and Major. In our free time we love to be outside, playing sports, cheering on our Colorado sports teams, traveling, and spending time with our family and friends. I can't wait to get to know you and for an amazing school year!
