Hello!

My name is Laura Katarzynski (she/hers), and I will be the Physical Education Teacher here at Tointon Academy. Here's a little bit about me!! I was born and raised in Illinois, but landed out in Colorado for school! Colorado was a great home away from home, so i thought I'd just make it my home :) This will be my first year teaching as I just graduated UNC in May with a Bachelor of science Degree in Sport and Exercise Science and an emphasis in Physical Education K-12. While at UNC, I played on the volleyball team all four years and won two regular season championships, along with two conference championships! My mom is also a PE teacher, so I was raised in the gym with her. I am the youngest of five girls and I wouldn't be here without the support from my family! I have a passion for working out, playing any type of game and spending quality time with my friends and family.
