Mrs. Jessica Hartshorn

My name is Jessica Hartshorn.  I have been teaching special education for 17 years in Greeley.  I have been teaching middle school students for the past 9 years.  I have lived in Northern Colorado for almost 40 years.  I graduated from UNC with a generalist degree in special education and then again with a Master's degree in Educational Psychology.  I am currently working on an Education Specialist degree from there as well.  I will be a graduate in May for the last time!

 

I have some of the coolest kids around.  My oldest son goes to West and loves to skateboard, and my youngest goes to Chappelow and loves football.  My husband makes me laugh everyday.  He is an assistant principal at Brentwood Middle School.  He taught math for many years and people tell me he was their favorite teacher...until they started working with me that is.

 

We love cats at our house and have 4:  Bertha, Charlie, Queso and Sweet Dee.  We have 2 goofy dogs: Tic and Mac.  

 

I am so excited to work with the students at McAuliffe and am ready to help students in any way that I can, even if they just need to groan at one of my cheesy dad jokes.  Please let me know if you need anything from me!
