Teresa Santos

Hi, my name is Teresa Santos. I am so excited about joining the Tointon family. This will be my 20th year in District 6. In previous years, I have taught kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and have been a reading teacher. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Reading Instruction. In 2020, I received the Success Foundations Educator of the Year award. Let’s just say, I love teaching! My husband, Rudy, and I have three children. Cora and Jessica attend Northridge High School and Angelica is all grown up. We have two dogs and two cats. We enjoy traveling to the beach, and I love to garden and read books. I’m looking forward to teaching second grade and getting to know all of you!
