Brei-Lynne Nelson

Hello!

My name is Brei-Lynne Nelson and I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade at Tointon Academy this year! This will be my FIRST year teaching, but I have had lots of opportunities to work with kids. My background is in kinesiology and health promotion, (exercise science,) with the long-term goal of becoming an occupational therapist. I have worked with children in this capacity in clinics, hospitals, and my favorite - farm and therapeutic riding! My family has also hosted foster children and foreign exchange students. I have also coached kids' volleyball. I have two brothers, and a sister who is a sixth grader this year at Tointon. (And my mom teaches 7th grade Social Studies at Tointon as well, so it is kind of a family thing!)

I am excited to learn and grow with my students this year, and to help them realize they can achieve whatever goals they have.
