Michelle Collins

My name is Michelle Collins and I am thrilled to be at Tointon Academy this year as a Special Education Teacher. This will be my ninth year teaching in District 6 and my twelfth year teaching overall!. I took a break from teaching last year to start my own boutique and even though I love having my own business I missed teaching! I am so excited to be in the classroom again! I was born in Wyoming and moved to Loveland when I was in third grade, My husband and I actually live in the house I grew up in! My husband, Dave Collins, will be teaching 7th grade at Tointon this year so we will get to experience this new adventure together. Dave and I have been married for 30 years, we have two grown sons, Josh (27) and Jake (26), two adorable one year old Chocolate Labs (Maezie and Mojo) and a thirteen year old cat (Meep). In my free time I enjoy creating things for my boutique, thrift shopping, reading, enjoying the outdoors, traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I can't wait to meet the Tointon family!
