Mrs. Leslie Hamilton

Welcome to 2nd Grade! I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year! This is my 1st year teaching at Scott Elementary, but 3rd year in District 6. I am beginning my 20th year in Education, having taught 12 years in Texas and 5 in Illinois. I’ve have had the privilege of teaching students in  a variety of grades.  Without a doubt second grade is my favorite! I’m looking forward to partnering with you this year in the journey of your child’s education.

I attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I was raised in Texas, but have lived in Illinois prior to moving to Colorado.   I have 2 boys, Kyle and Connor, who graduated from Colorado State University this past May. Connor is still here in Colorado, while Kyle is in Pennsylvania.  My husband, Dale and I live in Loveland and have a dog named Jonas. We love living closer to our kids and getting to enjoy the beautiful mountains!
