Mrs. Kifi Kanagy

I am so excited to be the Interventionist at Chappelow.  I have completed 27 years as an educator and am licensed in K-12 English/LA, K-12 CLD, K-12 Principal, K-6 Elementary Teacher, K-12 Library Media and Technology Specialist and a K-12 Reading Specialist.  With all of my schooling, degrees and years of teaching experience, my favorite job is to support all readers.  I love to help students find the "just right" book for them.  I have taught all grades K-12 over the years and spent 9 years in administration.  I started my career in District 6 in 1997 and have loved every school and student that I have met.  I enjoy solving the puzzles of what is causing a student to struggle or not like reading.  I love to provide alternative formats and help them see the importance of reading in all subjects and in life.  I am lucky to work with many very dedicated and kind educators at Chappelow.  Remember to Celebrate the Love of Reading!!
