Digital Technology Accessibility Statement

  • Greeley-Evans School District 6 is committed to inclusion, equity, and access ot its programs, services, and activities for all individuals. This includes ensuring that every person has equal access to ICT procured, developed, maintained or used by the district. The district is committed to a timely response to reports of inaccessible ICT or requests for reasonable accommodations or modifications. 


    In accordance with C.R.S. §§ 24-85-101 et seq., and as established by the Office of Information Technology’s Technology Accessibility Rules, 8 CCR 1501-11, the district is working diligently to ensure that all ICT is in compliance with the law, to provide equal access to ICT for people with disabilities, or make reasonable accommodations or modifications if needed. 


    Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, level AA criteria. These guidelines not only help make technology accessible to users with sensory, cognitive and mobility disabilities, but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
