Ms. Marissa Hurtado

I am in my 12th year of teaching in Greeley-Evans School District 6. I have enjoyed teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades during my career. I earned my undergraduate degree from Colorado State University and my Master's from Grand Canyon University. For me, there is nothing more rewarding than to witness children grow as they learn and master new concepts and skills. 

As a Colorado native, I enjoy the outdoors especially during the spring and fall months. I love to scrapbook memories of my 8 year old daughter, Maleea, in my spare time. Our three dogs (Lab, Mini Aussie, and Yorkie) enteratin us most hours of the day. Additionally, I have several siblings that keep my life busy.
