Mrs. Lacey Zwirn
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
I grew up in Sterling, and moved to Greeley in 2004 to attend UNC. I received my BA in Elementary Education in 2008 and my MA in Educational Leadership in 2015. When I am not with my students, I spend time with my husband and my daughters, Darcy and Leah. I have a passion for learning and to help others! I do what I love, and I love what I do.
I am thrilled to continue teaching in first grade this year! This will be my eleventh year at Monfort. Additionally, I have experience in second, third, and fourth grade. I will do my best each day to help your child reach their fullest potential. With your help and support, this year will be a wonderful experience for your child. I look forward to the growth they will make as individuals in my classroom this year. Contact me anytime with questions or comments.
School starts at 7:45 am and ends at 3:10 pm. Teachers are on duty outside around the building from 7:35-7:45 am and from 3:10-3:20.
For additional information all year long, please remember to visit my personal page on our Monfort site throughout the school year. I will post reminders and other helpful documents to make sure first grade is a success.
There are many opportunities for parents to volunteer in the classroom and attend field trips. It is district policy that any adult supervising children be registered as a volunteer. You can register on the Monfort site in the Quick Links section. Register today if you have not done so previously. Go to monfort.greeleyschools.org.
