Dear Parents and Students,
This year at Scott Elementary we will be offering a new group of Fit Club activities that you may be interested in! We hope you will take a moment to read the descriptions of the activities and will sign-up for a unit you like. Be aware of the changes that have been made to accommodate other extracurricular activities offered here at Scott School and the new schedule for students and staff for the 2018-2019 school year. Scott Star positive behaviors are expected during the participation of the Fit Club program! The program sponsor this year is Coach Farbo.
The activities will be offered to all 4th and 5th grade students on a first come, first serve basis. All units offered are on Wednesday afternoon from 3:10 to 4:30.
It is important that students be picked up promptly at 4:30. Students should be picked up in front of the building. That way they are all under supervision until they are picked up. Please be respectful of our time by picking your student up on time.
We are requesting that you only sign-up for Five units initially. Please indicate what units you would like to sign up for by filling out your first through fifth choices on the permission form. Students are encouraged to check with Coach Farbo for any additional space available for each unit. If there is still availability, then you may sign-up for more activities by obtaining a sign-up form from Coach Farbo. Students will be reminded to check the bulletin board outside the gym each day for information pertaining to Fit Club. It is the parents/guardians and child's responsibility to keep track of the dates they signed up for. In the rare occurrence, Coach Farbo will inform students on an individual basis if the activity they have signed up for is full. Please remember that each week we have a different activity, so please make sure your student knows which week they attend the Fit Club program.
Any student participating must return the permission form. Tennis shoes are highly recommended. Phone calls home are discouraged. Please have students make arrangements before coming to school.
