I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. My Master's Degree was earned through Grand Canyon University. I have been teaching since 1991. This is my 22nd year at Meeker, so it's definitely my second home. I am excited to be back teaching 3rd grade. 
I have 2 beautiful daughters, a wonderful husband, and 3 playful dogs. We love spending time as a family. I enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, reading, and movies. 
 
Homework: In 3rd grade we send homework home on Friday and it is due the following Friday. Students are expected to read 20 minutes a day and complete the math and reading homework in their folder. Your child may also work on STmath and Lexia at home. These programs can be accessed through Clever. 
 
Classroom expectations: In our classroom we use The Leader In Me 7 habits to guide us in our behaviors, goals, and work ethics. However, the number one rule in our classroom is to always be kind to others.
