RESIST is an after school mentoring program specifically for fith grade students sponsored by WeldWAITS and the Weld County Department of Public Health to prepare students for the relational and social challenges of middle school.
RESIST meets every Wednesday from 3:15-5:00 p.m. in the library, September - April. We will follow the same guidelines as Madison Elementary for incelement weather.
Students learn about positive character traits, communication skills, resisting bullying behavior and risky behaviors, and how to navigate middle school social groups.
Snacks are provided and students participate in fun games, small group and large group activities centered on the "mission" of the day.
See Mrs. Mueller for permissino forms! More information is available at Weld Waits.
