CLD Teacher (Culturally Linguistically Diverse) 

 

The focus of the Culturally Linguistically Diverse Program at Meeker has always been on building student communication skills. At Meeker, we also have the belief that second language learners enrich our school with culture, and we have the opportunity to learn from their families' experiences.

 

Colorado adopted the WIDA Standards Framework. There are state-mandated requirements under the framework and we can assure parents that all required assessments are given, each student's progress is monitored, a district approved curriculum is implemented, and all CLD classes are based on grade-level content.
