Mr. Dan Goding
Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Dan Goding and I am a 4th grade teacher here at McAuliffe. This year will be my 13th year of teaching, 11th at McAuliffe, and 8th in 4th grade. I absolutely love teaching 4th graders, and I am so proud to be a Silver Falcon!
Here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Loveland and still live there today. After attending Colorado State University in 1999, I became a park ranger and cycling instructor. I loved being around people and seeing the difference I could make in peoples' lives, so In 2008, I decided to attend the University of Northern Colorado to become a teacher. It was the best decision ever!
Spending a lot of time outdoors and being healthy are very important to me! I have competitively raced triathlon and running events for the last 22 years. In the summers, I spend my time in Steamboat Springs or camping all across the west and northwest. Riding my bike, backpacking, and traveling are just a few of my other favorite things to do. Anything outside makes me super happy!
We always have so much fun in this classroom and learn a ton along the way! I can't wait to see what memories we create this year!
