Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to the counseling services at Brentwood Middle School. This is my sixth year at Brentwood, and I love working here with all of our students and staff. I believe that if we all work together we can accomplish more. Our goal is to assist each and every student to reach their potential and promote academic and personal growth while collaborating with staff, families, and the community. This year, I am the 8th grade school counselor. I'm always available to help and have a very 'open door' policy. My office is located in room 106 right next to the library. Please feel free to contact me at any time, and I look forward to working with you this school year!
I am also the WEB Coordinator here at Brentwood. WEB stands for "Where Everybody Belongs" and is a middle school orientation and transition program that welcomes 6th graders and makes them feel comfortable through the first year of their middle school experience. This program is built on the belief that students can help students succeed. We identify and train recommended students from our 8th grade class to be WEB Leaders. As positive role models, WEB Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the 6th graders to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to middle school and help create a supportive and positive atmosphere.
