1st Grade Learning Facilitator

Room 10

I was born in Greeley in 1956. I attended Park-Washington Elementary School, John Evans Junior High, and West High School. I went to Aims community College and graduated from The University of Northern Colorado. I taught six years in Austin Texas before moving back to Greeley. I taught Kindergarten for most of my carreer and have been teaching first grade since 2003.  I also taught a Pre-kindergarten Kindergarten split class one year.

I met my wife Roberta in Austin and we have been married since 2004. We enjoy many activities outside of school. We like to go back packing in the summer months and snowshoeing in the winter. This usually involves fishing in small streams or rivers. We have been avid cave explorers but find little time for that lately. We hunt for deer and elk with bow and arrow each hunting season. We like to garden a bit and have three laying hens to supply eggs. Roberta and I have 2 daughters, 2 son in laws, and 3 grandchildren.
