Special Education Resource Teacher

Hello! My name is Erlinda Cruz. I am a resource special education teacher here at Franklin Middle School. I graduated from UNC with a Bachelor’s in Special Education. At Franklin, I currently work with the 6th grade team, but have worked closely with kids from grades kindergarten to 5th grade in the last couple of years. During that time, I mainly worked with older students, 4th and 5th grade. It was during that time I realized how much I enjoy working with that age group and decided to try out middle school. This will be my first year at Franklin. Outside of school, I enjoy reading and puzzles. I enjoy spending my time outside, whether it’s going on a run, or going on walks. I look forward to working with your child this 2022-2023 school year!
