Rachel Weber
CLD Teacher
Rachel Weber is starting her fifth year in education and her fifth year here at Franklin Middle School as a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Teacher. Rachel started her journey to education at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where she got her undergrad degree in Elementary Education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. After finishing her undergrad, Rachel moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in pursuit of her lifelong goal to live in the mountains. Before becoming a teacher, she spent four years working at a bank.
Since making the shift from banking to education, Rachel has continued her education and now has a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. At Franklin, she is currently the Head Cross Country Coach and the Head Girls Soccer Coach. She loves spending extra time with our scholars and connecting with them outside of the classroom.
When Rachel is not at Franklin, she spends her free time outside in the mountains. Whether it is hiking, camping, or skiing, as long as she is outside, she is happy. She also enjoys reading a good book or playing fetch with her dog.
