I was born and raised here in Greeley, Colorado. I went to school here in District 6 attending Scott Elementary, Maplewood Middle School, Heath Jr. High School, and finally, Greeley West High School (Class of 1987). 

 

I graduated from University of Northern Colorado in 1992 with a BA in Spanish, English, and a minor in ESL. I have been a teacher here in District 6 since January of 1993 with the exception of one year that I taught in Garden City, Kansas. 

 

I have taught 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades in addition to Conversational Spanish and Spanish 101, 102, and 103 at the the Garden City Community College and Conversational Spanish at AIMS Community College as well. 

 

I have been the STANDD/SHIELD Advisor for 18 years. STANDD is our Diversity Club here at Greeley West.
