Hello Madison Eagles! My name is Mrs. Tarantino. I have been teaching in District 6 for 32 years! I have taught at Centennial Elementary, Scott Elementary and this will be my 12th year at Madison Elementary. I have taught 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5th grades at different times. Now I am a CLD teacher, which means that I get to work with all grade levels helping children who are learning English. 

This year will look a little different. I will not be pulling students out of classrooms to teach. Instead, I will be joining classrooms and co-teaching. This means that you will have two teachers to help you during that time.

When I'm not at school I enjoy hiking, reading, making jewelry, and most of all, racing! I am an amateur race car driver on the weekends. I am also an author and have written eight children's books. I am married and have two children. My daughter is an operating room nurse and my son is a Marine.
