My name is Ryan McDougal, and I have the great honor of serving as principal of Scott Elementary. I am beginning my 7th year here and am excited by all the amazing things we have accomplished and will continue to work on in the coming year. I know that you entrust us with the care and education of the most important thing in your life. We do not take this responsibility lightly and feel privileged that you have chosen Scott Elementary. We are working to form strong, lasting partnerships with parents and the greater community to help us in our journey. I highly encourage you to be involved with your child's education in any way you can.

Hello,

My name is Brad Farbo and I’m the Assistant Principal here at Scott Elementary.  This is my first year serving as the school's Assistant Principal. The students may also know me as “Coach Farbo'' as I served as the PE Teacher at Scott previously for eight years as well as the Behavior Specialist for one year.  I am happy to say that this is my 10th year at Scott Elementary and 12th year in education overall.  Scott is like my second home and I have had the privilege to work with some amazing teachers, students, and parents during my time at Scott.  I have been extremely fortunate to have built so many positive relationships with our Scott family and community over the years. Our mission at Scott is to prepare students to choose the life they want and our goal at Scott is to leave a positive and lasting impact that will last a lifetime.  I love working in education and look forward to supporting our Scott students and their families in any way that I can.  I’ve had many outstanding students throughout my years in education and  I pride myself in treating each student as an individual and treating each student in a fair and consistent manner.  My goal as the Assistant Principal is to support our Scott staff, students, families, and community through academic achievement, positive social interactions, and supporting mental health. I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and currently reside in Johnstown, Colorado.  During my time in Pueblo, I enjoyed playing football, basketball and baseball.  Eventually, I moved on to attend Trinidad State Junior College for baseball where I received an associate of arts degree.  After Trinidad, I attended Colorado State University- Pueblo for baseball and received a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Physical Education. Additionally, I received a master’s degree in Educational Leadership through the University of Northern Colorado. I am married to the love of my life, Kendace, and we have two dogs “Salem & Shea'' who we absolutely adore.  They mean the world to me!
