During this 2020-2021 school year I am acting as the middle level physical education elective! Even though I miss teaching dance and 5th grade music, I have enjoyed working with all of our middle level students attending Chappelow. My goal this year is to give our students opportunities to safely socialize with their peers while remaining active. I want to focus on physical and mental health. We have enjoyed playing games, conditioning, and practicing yoga on a weekly basis. Most days we spend at least half of our time outside. The other half of our elective time is spent studying various decades. We look at the history of the decade, the music, and the dances that go along with it. Schoology houses many of these lessons, assignments, and videos. Although this year has had its challenges, your students have made it so fun!
