Hello and welcome to our class website! I'm Ashley Keesis-Wood, and this is my eighth full year at Meeker Elementary. I'm very excited to be in 3rd grade this year, and looking forward to all the awesome learning we're going to be doing.
Our classroom is a leadership-oriented, student-centered environment. We are implementing the Leader in Me from Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and we are so excited to be growing our Meeker Mountain Lion leaders! We are continuing to use personalized learning and technology to drive student learning and student achievement, and our students are showing tremendous growth and becoming strong, self-directed learners using programs like ST Math, Lexia, and Google Classroom.
When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and our little boy, ride my horses, read, and practice yoga.
