Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) is a discretionary grant program from the U.S. Department of Education designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in post-secondary education.
The GEAR UP grant will help build a college going culture within our schools by supporting college visits, career exploration and academic planning.
