Mrs. Koehler

Hello! My name is Mrs. Koehler. This is my eighth year teaching at Shawsheen, but my fourteenth year teaching in total! I have taught Kindergarten, first grade, and am excited to once again be in fourth grade this year! I am looking forward to watching our Sparrowhawks soar!

I have a Bachelor's of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado as well as an Associates Degree from AIMS Community College. I am passionate about teaching, and helping students learn and grow. I can't wait to help my students learn all of the fun and exciting things fourth grade has to offer!

I have lived in Colorado my whole life and absolutely love our state. I grew up in the small community of Wiggins then moved to Greeley with my family where I attended college. I lived and taught in La Junta for 6 years. I then moved back "home" to this incredible community to be with family again! I have been married for six years, and I have a 5 year old son, Kooper, and a 4 year old daughter, Karter, and 3 bonus children :) I also have 3 dogs! 

I love being a mom and wife, but also enjoy cooking, crafting/decorating, sports, music of any kind, the great outdoors (camping/fishing), and most of all, spending time with my family and friends!

I can't wait to spend the next year learning and growing with my wonderful students and learning all about you and your families!
